Now, if the aim of variant covers is to get me to buy copies of comics I normally wouldn’t, DC officially has me beat. That’s why I am so excited to bring you the news that DC announced over at CBR that December will be a variant cover month dedicated to Darwyn Cooke. His artwork can be so emblematic of a time gone past for comics, bringing a sense of that simpler shining Silver Age back to the page.
